Jason Terry’s tattoo of trophy…

Amazing news from ESPN today about JET’s show of confidence at the beginning of this season. First of all, it’s incredible that DeShawn Stevenson held a tattoo party at the beginning of the season as a team-building exercise. But even Stevenson was stunned by Terry’s decision to get the Larry O’Brien Trophy tattooed on his right bicep:

According to Terry, after the initial shock wore off, the tattoo became a major source of inspiration to the team:

“When they actually see me get it, they were like, ‘This boy is serious.’ And our whole talk and conversation was about right now, about us getting to this point and winning it all.”

Would love to see someone copycat this idea. J.R. Giddens?
